Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Salkantay Base Camp – Humantay Lake – Cusco

  • PICK UP: 5:00 am fron your hotel in Cusco
  • SHUTTLE TO TRAIL HEAD: 3 hour drive from Cusco
  • HIKING MILEAGE: 12 km / 7.5 ml
  • HUMANTAY LAKE ELEVATION: 4200 m / 137779 ft
  • SHUTTLE TO CUSCO: 3.5 hour drive from Soraypampa
  • RETURN IN CUSCO: 7:30 pm

We pick you up from your hotel to drive you for 2 hour to Molllepata after breakfast 1 more hour to the trail head then we start the trek 3 hours hike by the channel inka to soraypampa once there we have lunch, after we hike up to Humantay lake for 1.5 hour uphill, once at the lake you have time for photographing and explore the area. after you walk back 45 minutes to Soraypama to catch car back to cusco. About 3.5 hour.
