This tour allows you to visit the Inca site of Moray and the Salt Mines of Maras in an extremely nice way. It’s a full-day tour. If you love horses, that’s the perfect tour for you!
During the day, you will enjoy the nature, wonderful landscapes and, above all, you’ll be riding precious “Peruvian Paso Horses”.

Itinerary

Pick-up at 08:30 a.m from the hostel. We’ll be driving to the colonial village of Maras where you will appreciate the local architecture and the local way of life.

After knowing our wonderful horses, the guide will explain you the characteristics of these incredible animals and how to ride them. You don’t need any previous experience to do this tour: the horses are incredibly well trained and really nice!
We’ll start our ride towards the Inca site of Moray. On the way, we will enjoy incredible landscapes: the glaciers around the Sacred Valley as well as the Vilcanota mountain chain. We’ll pass through some local communities and we’ll be always surrounded by the colourful fields.

In Moray, the guide will explain you the history and the meaning of the site and then we’ll keep on riding till our lunch time. After our pick-nick, we’ll continue towards Maras Salt Mines. Again, the guide will explain you the meaning of the site.
In total, we’ll spend between 4 and 5 hours riding the marvelous horses, before coming back to Cusco. Return at around 05:00-06:00 p.m.
