Itinerary

Day 1

We will start picking up passengers from their hotels at 03:30 a.m. We’ll use a tourist bus. We’ll have breakfast in Chivay after you visit the viewpoint “Cruz del Condor” (approximately 01 hour), we’ll arrive to the place where the Colca Canyon is located in “Cabanaconde”, here we are going to have lunch and after this, we’ll prepare ourselves for the trek into the Colca Canyon. We’ll do the Colca hike that is going to take about 4 hours. We’ll descend approximately 1,200 meters into the canyon. The 1st night, we’ll sleep in the village of San Juan de Chuccho in rustic cabins; from this village we will have a really nice view of this deep Colca Canyon. Then, we will have dinner, prepared by our guide and at last, we are going to sleep.

Day 2

After breakfast, we’ll walk 2 hours to Sangalle (visiting the villages of Cosñirgua and Malata) we’ll arrive to the deepest point of this trek in the Colca Canyon which is called “Sangalle”, this place looks more like an Oasis. At the Oasis of Sangalle, we are going to have lunch and some rest and relax swimming in the pool. Dinner, night in rustic cabins.

Day 3

Breakfast, after we will go up to Cabanaconde walking for 03 hours, climbing from 2,000 meters to 3,200 meters above sea level, in this point our private bus will wait for us, in the way we will stop in others viewpoints arriving to Chivay at 11.00 a.m which is possible, after we will visit Calera (hot springs 39º degrees), another option we have is to visit the market, then lunch in a typical restaurant at Chivay. After returning to Arequipa we’ll arrive at 06:00 p.m
