Colca Trek 2 Days & 1 Night

DAY 01:

We will leave Arequipa at 03:00 a.m by bus from Arequipa to Chivay (“Cabanaconde”). We will arrive to Cabanaconde at around 09:00 a.m where you will have breakfast and rest. After that, we’ll prepare ourselves for our trek descending the Colca Canyon for approximately 3 hours. Then, we will arrive at a beautiful place called “San Juan de Chuccho”. Here, we will rest and lunch. After lunch, we’ll continue walking for 3 hours towards the oasis (“San Galle”). Before arriving at this place, we will visit traditional villages like Coshñirhua and Malata. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in the Oasis. The guide will prepare your dinner and here you will sleep in rustic, simple but comfortable cabins.

DAY 02:

We’ll wake up very early to begin our ascent at around 04.00 a.m towards Cabanaconde. Here, you will have breakfast and after that, you will go by bus to the Condor’s Cross to see the flight of the Condor. You will continue to Chivay where we’ll have 2 hours free to visit the hot springs or the local market. After that, we will set off for Arequipa where we will arrive at 05:00 p.m
