This three day rafting expedition is an amazing adventure with rapids starting from class 3 and reaching 5 and 6 on the third day.
During the course of your trip, keep an eye out on the native wildlife including river otters, bobcats, foxes, torrent ducks, cormorants etc.

Itinerary

DAY 1:

The pick-up is at 08:00 a.m outside of the Mayuc office in “Plaza De Armas” (Main Square). From Cusco, you will be driven 4 hours through the Andes to the introduction at Huallpachaca bridge. While the guides are preparing the equipment, you will be given a safety talk and practice safety drills (emphasis on reentering the raft from water, flipping the raft, and swimming in rapids). You will have about 2 or 3 hours of floating time in class II and III rapids.
Your first camping nights is located in a narrow gorge with impressive natural scenery. Here, the guides will prepare dinner for you.

DAY 2:

After breakfast, you will start rafting at around 09:00 a.m. You will have about 6 hours of floating time, doing mostly class III and IV rapids, stopping for lunch and arriving to the camp at around 04:00 p.m.
Your camp location will be on a sandy beach under the night sky of the southern hemisphere.

DAY 3:

The day begins with a breakfast followed by 4 hours of rafting where you will encounter the class V rapid known as “BABALUA”. You will arrive to take out the point where the guides will pack up all the equipment and drive back to Cusco arriving at around 04:00 p.m.
